National Health Insurance Agency organizes a centralized procurement forum: Drug quality is the lifeline of enterprises.
On November 5-6, 2025, the National Healthcare Security Administration organized three symposiums, inviting the National Medical Products Administration, selected enterprises from centralized drug procurement, experts, and media representatives to discuss and exchange views on the selection of drugs in the 11th batch of national organized drug procurement, and to listen to opinions and suggestions. The heads of the selected enterprises unanimously stated that drug quality is the lifeblood of the enterprise. They will strictly organize production according to drug production quality management standards to ensure continuous compliance throughout the production process, strengthen the management of active pharmaceutical ingredients, excipients, and drug packaging materials, and implement a quality control system for the entire drug life cycle. They will orderly arrange production capacity and inventory, make preparations for implementation on the ground, especially ensuring the supply of selected drugs in grassroots and remote areas to effectively meet clinical medication needs. The meeting had discussions around guiding enterprises to scientifically select projects to prevent "zero-sum" from the source, ensuring the quality and supply of selected products, continuously optimizing centralized procurement measures, and the continuation of procurement after the expiration of the agreement, as concerns of enterprises and the media.
