Ctrip releases Q3 financial report: Inbound tourism grows by over 100%, AI technology empowers industry ecological upgrades.
On November 18, Ctrip Group announced its unaudited financial performance for the third quarter of 2025. In the third quarter, Ctrip's international OTA platform saw a year-on-year growth of about 60% in total bookings, with inbound travel bookings increasing by over 100%. Hotel and flight bookings for outbound travel have surpassed pre-epidemic levels in 2019 by 140%. To help China become a world-class tourism destination, Ctrip continues to optimize inbound travel services and products, with non-Chinese service volume accounting for 72% and the "Merchant Assistant" supporting 26 languages for real-time translation covering 99% of hotel merchants. Additionally, Ctrip has expanded services such as free half-day tours at Hong Kong Airport, strengthening a "Friendly China" tourism ecosystem. At the same time, the application of AI technology at Ctrip has shown significant effects, with AI Trip Assist page views increasing by 180% year-on-year, saving users about 50% of decision-making time. AI tools help hotels achieve real-time cross-language responses, with a 35% increase in pre-booking consultation to user order conversion rates and the operations team releasing approximately 30% of manpower daily. Technological empowerment further promotes the efficiency of platform operations and enhances user experience.
