The Ministry of Commerce and six other departments have issued a notice on carrying out the "East Silk West Silk" work in the sericulture industry, which points out the need to enhance the processing capacity of silk fabrics. This includes supporting enterprises in upgrading and renovating their existing silk production lines, promoting the optimization of efficiency for traditional silk weaving enterprises. Proactively taking over the transfer of silk weaving industry from eastern regions, actively attracting silk weaving enterprises from Zhejiang, Jiangsu and other regions to settle in, building a silk textile processing industrial park, leading and driving the complementary advantages of upstream and downstream industrial chain enterprises to form a scale effect. Promoting the transformation and upgrading of silk weaving technology and equipment, vigorously promoting the application of new technologies such as new rapier weaving, wide-width high needle count electronic jacquard, to enhance production efficiency. Promoting innovation in silk fabric, developing composite, differentiated, and functional new types of silk fabric, optimizing product structure. Cultivating a number of specialized and new small and medium-sized enterprises in the sericulture industry and manufacturing industry single champion enterprises.
