The Ministry of Energy of Serbia has announced the conditions for the lifting of sanctions by the United States on the Serbian Oil Company.

Serbian Minister of Mining and Energy, Dubravka Jandovi Handanovi, stated that the United States is demanding that Russia relinquish ownership of the Serbian oil industry company as a condition for lifting sanctions against the company. She said at a press conference, "The US government has clearly and unambiguously stated and in writing expressed its desire to completely change the ownership of Russian shareholders, or more precisely, it is demanding that Russian owners exit NIS company."
