After cracking down on businesses selling Maotai at illegally low prices and using deceptive sales tactics, Douyin took genuine action. On November 15th, when searching for "53% flying Maotai" products on the Douyin platform, low-price links are no longer visible. Instead, the top results are mainly the official flagship stores of Maotai's Sauce Aroma Liquor, Maotai Cultural Tourism, and the Douyin Supermarket, with prices returning to normal. The main products that have been taken down are the low-priced domestic version of 53% 500ml Flying Maotai from third-party sellers, while other volumes, other alcohol percentages of Flying Maotai, and the overseas version of 53% 500ml Flying Maotai are still visible. Some sellers confirmed on the 15th that they received a notice from the Douyin platform in the afternoon, stating that stores selling Maotai are all "awaiting platform judgment," and whether they can continue to sell will depend on the platform's determination of whether the store has violated the rules.
