On the 14th, the US government announced that some transactions related to the sale of overseas assets of the Russian private company Lukoil could continue after the effective date of US sanctions, and companies interested in acquiring the aforementioned assets must complete negotiations and transactions before December 13th. The US government's sanctions on Lukoil are scheduled to take effect on November 21. Lukoil originally planned to sell its overseas assets to a Swiss company, but had to look for another buyer due to opposition from the US government. Lukoil stated on the 14th that it is continuing negotiations and has promised that its overseas business operations will not be interrupted.
