Sinopec has launched geothermal heating, covering an area of 126 million square meters.

Sinopec has fully launched geothermal heating services for this winter, covering more than 70 cities in 11 provinces across the country, providing clean heating for over 1.2 million households. During this heating season, Sinopec's geothermal heating capacity has further increased to 126 million square meters, reaching a historical high, reducing carbon dioxide emissions by nearly 6.2 million tons per year. In accordance with local government requirements, Sinopec has already started geothermal heating services in Taiyuan, Shanxi on October 20th.
