Sudan's Sovereignty Council Chairman and Chief of the Armed Forces, General Burhan, stated on November 14th that he refuses to reach a ceasefire or peace agreement with the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), a paramilitary organization. Military operations will continue until the rebels are completely eliminated. The Sudanese Sovereignty Council declared in a statement that Burhan made a public speech in the state of Gezira, calling on all Sudanese people to participate in this "battle of dignity and honor" and urging "all those capable of taking up arms" to join the fight against the RSF. Burhan also emphasized that the Sudanese people will not accept the RSF and their supporters, calling on the international community to help Sudan achieve peace.
