Today, the ninth batch of space science experimental samples from the Chinese space station was successfully delivered to scientists for further research. The ninth batch of space science experimental samples from the Chinese space station returned yesterday on the Shenzhou-21 spacecraft, involving 26 experimental projects, including life experiment samples, material experiment samples, and combustion experiment samples. The total weight of the experimental samples including experimental mice is 46.67 kilograms. The experimental samples returned include 9 types of life experimental samples, including experimental mice, zebrafish and golden algae, streptococcus, rotifers, brain organoids, macrophages, liver cells, etc.; as well as 32 types of material samples including tungsten-hafnium alloy, soft magnetic materials, hydrated salt phase change and simulated lunar soil, anti-radiation optical fibers, new thermal control coatings, and space thin film solar cell protection; and 3 types of combustion experimental samples including burners, carbon smoke collection plates, and collection covers.
