The US Department of Justice will investigate the relationship between Epstein and JPMorgan, Salmons and Clinton.

The Department of Justice in the United States announced that, in response to President Trump's request, an investigation into the relationships between Jeffrey Epstein and former President Bill Clinton, former Treasury Secretary Larry Summers, Democratic Party donor Reid Hoffman, and JPMorgan Chase will be launched. Previously, a batch of newly exposed emails has raised questions about Trump's own relationship with the disgraced financier. Attorney General Pam Bondi stated that she has assigned former chairman of the Securities and Exchange Commission and current U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York, Jay Clayton, to lead the investigation. The Southern District of New York prosecutor's office is one of the most prestigious federal law enforcement agencies in the United States and is responsible for prosecuting several major financial cases involving Wall Street.
