Liang Hong, Huatai Securities: The curtain rises on the revaluation of Chinese assets
On November 12th, Liang Hong, Chairman of the Institutional Business Committee of Huatai Securities, delivered a speech at the International Investor Conference held at the Shanghai Stock Exchange. "The revaluation of Chinese assets, we believe, is just the beginning of a larger trend," Liang Hong said. "Years ago, China was seen as an uninvestable place mainly due to the rapid changes and adjustments in the capital market, concerns about local debt, as well as the negative impact from the pandemic and geopolitical issues. However, this is not the first time China has faced such challenges, nor is it the first time a major economy has encountered structural problems during a growth process, especially when it comes to addressing debt issues through structural adjustments."
