Dongfeng Motor's solid-state batteries are expected to start mass production and be installed in vehicles in September next year.

From November 12th to 15th, 2025, the World Power Battery Conference will be held at the Yibin International Convention and Exhibition Center in Sichuan. Dongfeng Motor will showcase its new generation of high-energy density solid-state batteries and the Mach ultra-high voltage pure electric platform, as well as a variety of new energy vehicle models from its own brand. Dongfeng Motor has announced that it has completed the construction of a 0.2GWh solid-state battery pilot line and put it into operation. It is expected that the 350Wh/kg solid-state battery will be officially mass-produced and installed in vehicles in September 2026, at which time the vehicle will be able to achieve a range of 1000 kilometers.
