Ministry of Education: Plans to establish 9,000 schools specializing in physical education and health.

The Ministry of Education issued a notice on the establishment of national exemplary characteristic schools. The overall plan is to divide national exemplary characteristic schools into five categories: sports and health, arts education, national defense education, law-based school management, and language and writing promotion and application. The creation period for this work is generally 2 years. It is planned to establish 9,000 sports and health schools, 5,000 arts education schools and 200 bases, 4,000 national defense education schools, 300 to 400 law-based school management schools, and 300 language and writing promotion and application schools.
