Preliminary statistics show that the total social financing scale at the end of October 2025 was 437.72 trillion yuan, an increase of 8.5% year-on-year. The cumulative increase in the social financing scale for the first ten months of 2025 was 3.09 trillion yuan, which was 383 billion yuan more than the same period last year. By the end of October, the broad money supply (M2) balance was 33.513 trillion yuan, an increase of 8.2% year-on-year. The narrow money supply (M1) balance was 11.2 trillion yuan, an increase of 6.2% year-on-year. The currency in circulation (M0) balance was 1.355 trillion yuan, an increase of 10.6% year-on-year.
