Lin Jian stated that the joint statement of the G7 foreign ministers once again ignores the facts, distorts right and wrong, intentionally slanders and smears China, and rudely interferes in China's internal affairs. China is strongly dissatisfied with this and firmly opposes it. Lin Jian emphasized that the Taiwan issue is purely China's internal affair, and how to resolve the Taiwan issue is a matter for the Chinese people themselves, and does not allow any external interference. Currently, the overall situation in the East China Sea and South China Sea remains stable, and the G7 should stop using maritime issues to provoke disputes, exacerbate tensions, and disrupt regional peace and stability. Lin Jian said that China has always been straightforward on the issue of the Ukraine crisis, has never provided lethal weapons to any party in the conflict, strictly controls dual-use military and civilian items, and will never accept the G7 shifting blame and making baseless accusations. Lin Jian pointed out that in terms of peace and security, China is the best-recorded major country, adheres to the path of peaceful development, firmly pursues a defensive national defense policy, and always maintains its nuclear capabilities at the lowest level required for national security. The G7 avoids discussing the special responsibility for nuclear disarmament of the United States and the trilateral security partnership between the United States, the United Kingdom, and Australia, creating nuclear proliferation risks, while bringing up China, which is a typical case of not distinguishing between right and wrong. Lin Jian said that China's regular and improved export control system follows international practices and aims to better maintain world peace and regional stability, fulfilling international obligations. The so-called Chinese overcapacity and non-market behavior have been proven to be false propositions, not worth refuting. The G7 should stop politicizing and weaponizing economic and trade issues to avoid disrupting the international economic order and global supply chains. "China once again urges the G7 to see the overall trend of the world, abandon Cold War thinking and ideological bias, stop manipulating China-related issues and interfering in China's internal affairs, and do more things that are conducive to the unity and cooperation of the international community," Lin Jian said.
