Langfang City, Hebei Province initiated a level II emergency response to heavy pollution weather at 12:00 on November 13th.
According to the joint consultation of the Provincial Ecological Environment Emergency and Heavy Pollution Weather Warning Center and relevant units such as the China Environmental Monitoring General Station, it is expected that from the afternoon of November 13th to the night of the 15th, our city will shift to a southerly wind, with increased humidity. There will be convergence of winds in some periods, unfavorable diffusion conditions, and moderate to severe pollution processes will occur. On the 16th, diffusion conditions will improve and pollution will gradually clear up. In order to reduce the degree of pollution, peak AQI index, and safeguard the health of the people, with the approval of the municipal government, an orange warning for heavy pollution weather is now issued to the whole city. Level II emergency response will be activated at 12 o'clock on November 13th, and it is expected to be lifted around November 16th, with the specific lifting time to be notified separately.
