The collapsed Hongqi Bridge in January this year was confirmed to have no relation to the quality of the bridge by the traffic department.

On November 11th, due to the worsening deformation of the mountain and landslide, the Red Flag Bridge on National Highway 317 in Barkam City, Aba Prefecture, Sichuan collapsed, causing the collapse of the roadbed and approach bridge. The transportation department of Aba Prefecture denied that the collapse was related to the quality of the bridge. It is noted that the bridge was completed in January of this year.
