On the 11th, the well-known German specialty chemicals company Lanxess held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the expansion of its production base in Qingdao, China. Lanxess has implemented an expansion and upgrade at the base to meet the increasing market demand for rubber additives in China. Lanxess President of Greater China, Hubert Fink, stated that through the expansion and upgrade, the production capacity of the processing additives V4 and pre-dispersed masterbatch V8 at the base has increased by 50%. The total production capacity of the base has increased from 25,000 tons per year to 30,000 tons.
