Three rural commercial banks in Zhejiang were fined over one million on the same day.

On November 11, the Wenzhou Regulatory Sub-bureau of the China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission issued administrative penalties for several rural commercial banks. Among them, Zhejiang Yongjia Rural Commercial Bank was fined 1.8 million yuan for "inadequate management of employee behavior; inaccurate statistical data"; the relevant person in charge, Yuan Zhipeng, was warned and fined 50,000 yuan. Zhejiang Ruian Rural Commercial Bank was fined 1.65 million yuan for "setting up deposit and loan assessment indicators illegally; inaccurate statistical data"; the relevant person in charge, Wan Li, was warned. Zhejiang Leqing Rural Commercial Bank was fined 3.6 million yuan for "inadequate 'three-check' of loans, diversion of credit funds; inaccurate classification of loans"; the relevant persons in charge, Zhu Fuyou and Huang Zhaobing, were warned.
