The average urban surveyed unemployment rate for the past four years is 5.3%, lower than the expected control target. Employment quality is steadily improving, and the rights of workers are effectively protected. A social security system with the largest scale, comprehensive functions, and distinctive Chinese characteristics in the world has been established. The national participation rate in the basic endowment insurance exceeds 95%, and the total scale of social insurance funds for pensions, unemployment, and work-related injuries is 70.8 trillion yuan, with a cumulative surplus of 9.8 trillion yuan, making the protection functions more comprehensive and the fund more substantial. In the next step, we will fully utilize policies such as phased reduction of social security contributions, stabilizing employment insurance refunds, employment and entrepreneurship subsidies, etc., focus on tapping potential, stabilizing jobs, protecting key areas, strengthening training, and improving services, to ensure the completion of the annual target tasks.
