The first domestic 12-inch silicon photon chip production line has been put into operation.

According to the "Chinese Optics Valley" news, recently, the first national semiconductor optical PDK, TDK, and ADK wafer service platform based on the 12-inch 40nm CMOS process line was officially put into operation in Optics Valley. This platform is constructed and operated by the National Information Optoelectronics Innovation Center, marking another key breakthrough for Optics Valley enterprises in the silicon photonics field. Data shows that the National Information Optoelectronics Innovation Center was jointly established by companies including Gigalight, Fiberhome Communications, Hengtong Optic-Electric, TruVU Communications, and Guide Infrared.
