Director Yao Jun of the Planning Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology stated at a regular policy briefing held by the State Council Information Office that the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology will accelerate the cultivation of application scenarios in five key areas. Among them, he mentioned the Beidou+ application scenarios, researching and introducing policies to promote the development of the time and space information industry, deepening pilot cities for large-scale Beidou applications, accelerating the integration and innovation of Beidou with mobile communications, inertial navigation, high-precision vision, and other technologies, promoting the deep integration and application of Beidou in new scenarios such as smart cities, intelligent transportation, smart logistics, smart oceans, and precision agriculture. With the continuous advancement of the three-step process of Beidou construction, large-scale Beidou applications have entered a key stage of marketization, industrialization, and internationalization. The integration of "communication, navigation, and remote sensing" will be integrated, and the new generation of low-orbit satellite constellation plans are also being deployed in an orderly manner. With the vigorous development of the low-orbit satellite constellation plan, the gradual breakthrough of Beidou technology, and the relatively perfect infrastructure for autonomous high-precision positioning and space-time data industry, it may enter the stage of commercial development. "Star Network + Beidou" will constitute the benchmark technology support system for space-time data elements.
