Our country's 6G patent application volume ranks first in the world, and listed companies are vying for the technological high ground.

Recently, the "China Internet Development Report 2025" was officially released at the 2025 World Internet Conference in Wuzhen. The report shows that as of June 2025, China's 6G patent applications accounted for approximately 40.3% of the global total, ranking first in the world. At the same time, China has become the largest holder of artificial intelligence patents in the world, accounting for 60%. China is accelerating the research and development and industrialization layout of 6G technology, and many listed companies have recently stated that they have entered key technological areas, seizing the commanding heights of next-generation communication technology. "The advantage of patents is the inevitable result of China's continuous investment in the communication technology field, which will give China important discourse power in the formulation of 6G standards and future industrialization. Behind the fruitful patents is the forward-looking layout of Chinese enterprises, research institutes, universities, and institutions in the field of technology research and application, promoting comprehensive acceleration of industrialization."
