Reporters learned from the Institute of Semiconductors, Chinese Academy of Sciences that a research team led by researcher You Jingbi has recently developed a prototype device of perovskite solar cells with a photoelectric conversion efficiency of 27.2%. The device can maintain 86.3% of its initial efficiency after continuous operation for 1529 hours under standard sunlight and maximum power output conditions. In addition, the device can still maintain 82.8% of its initial efficiency after continuous operation for 1000 hours under accelerated aging conditions of 85 with standard sunlight. The relevant results were recently published in the international academic journal "Science".
