Investigation report on the major gas explosion accident in Yanjiao, Hebei, which resulted in 7 deaths and 27 injuries, has been released.

The official website of the Emergency Management Department of Hebei Province released the investigation report of the "3.13" major gas explosion incident. At around 3:15 on March 13, 2024, during shield construction work between Yanjiao Station and Shenwei Street Station of the subway, a buried natural gas pipeline was damaged and leaked, causing natural gas to spread to the surrounding Xiaozhanggezhuang Comprehensive Service Building C. An explosion occurred at around 7:54, resulting in 7 deaths and 27 injuries. After investigation, it was determined that this was a production safety liability accident.
