Alliance Consulting: New models drive demand recovery, global smartphone panel shipment volume in the third quarter of 2025 increased by 8.1% from the previous quarter.

According to the latest survey by TrendForce, the shipment volume of global smartphone panels in the third quarter of 2025 reached 586 million units, with a quarterly increase of 8.1% and a yearly increase of 5.3%. The main growth momentum comes from the iPhone 17 series and new products from other major smartphone brands in the second half of the year. In addition, the demand for AMOLED panels continued to rise in the third quarter, and LCD panels maintained stable shipments in entry-level smartphones and repair markets. It is estimated that the shipment volume of smartphone panels in the whole year of 2025 will reach 2.243 billion units, with a yearly increase of 3.4%, reaching a peak in recent years.
