According to the latest survey from TrendForce, global smartphone panel shipments in the third quarter of 2025 reached 586 million units, an increase of 8.1% from the previous quarter and 5.3% from the previous year. The main growth drivers were the iPhone 17 series and new products from other major smartphone brands in the second half of the year. In addition, demand for AMOLED panels continued to increase in the third quarter, and LCD panels maintained stable shipments in the entry-level smartphone and repair markets. It is estimated that the total shipment of mobile phone panels in 2025 will reach 2.243 billion units, an annual increase of 3.4%, reaching a peak in recent years.
