Huang Renxun visited TSMC's 3nm production line to inquire about production capacity.

On November 7th and 8th, 2025, NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang embarked on his third visit to Taiwan in nearly three months. During this visit, he not only personally inspected the 3nm production line at TSMC's Fab 18 in Tainan, but also made a rare appearance at TSMC's annual employee sports event. During the event, he expressed gratitude in a high-profile manner, stating "Without TSMC, there would be no NVIDIA today", highlighting the deep and cooperative relationship between the two companies. During his visit, Jensen Huang first headed to TSMC's 3nm core production base to discuss capacity guarantees with Chairman Wei Zhejia. It was revealed that the current monthly production capacity of this line is 100,000 wafers, with plans to increase it to 160,000 wafers by 2026. The additional capacity will primarily be supplied to NVIDIA.
