A-shares noon update: The ChiNext index fell more than 2% in the morning, with mining equipment stocks leading the decline. The cyclical sectors such as chemicals and consumer goods showed strength.

The three major indexes of A shares collectively fell in the morning session. As of midday, the Shanghai Composite Index fell 0.03%, the Shenzhen Component Index fell 0.59%, the ChiNext Index fell 2.13%, and the CSI 50 fell 0.46%. The total turnover of the Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Hong Kong markets in the morning session was 1.4544 trillion yuan, an increase of 188.3 billion yuan from the previous day. Over 2900 stocks in the entire market were in the green. In terms of sector themes, the dairy industry, duty-free shops, liquor and other large consumer, chemical industry, non-ferrous metals, silicon energy, and influenza sectors led the gains, while CPO, copper cable high-speed connectivity and other computing hardware stocks, humanoid robots, and power equipment sectors led the declines. On the market, the dairy industry, duty-free shops, liquor and other large consumer sectors strengthened collectively, with stocks such as China International Travel Service, Eastroc Super Drink, and San Yuan Food Industry hitting the limit up, while Shede Wine Industry, Luzhou Laojiao, and Gujing Gong Jiu followed suit. The chemical industry sector continued to be active, with phosphorus chemical and fluorine chemical leading the way. Chengxing Group hit the limit up for the third consecutive day, while Fuday Technology, Tianji Group, and Shenzhen New Star also hit the limit up. The silicon energy sector also showed strong performance, with Hongyuan Green Energy hitting the limit up for two consecutive days, while Eging Photovoltaic, Guosheng Technology, and Dawei Corporation also hit the limit up. On the other hand, computing hardware stocks such as CPO and copper cable high-speed connectivity fell collectively, with Xinyisheng, Shengyi Technology, Shenghong Technology, Industrial Fulian, and Zhongji Xuchuang leading the declines. The concept stocks of humanoid robots also performed poorly, with Zhejiang Rongtai hitting the limit down during the session, and Top Group, Three Flowers Intelligent Control, and Lanse Technology leading the declines.
