Marriott International announced the termination of its partnership with the hotel service apartment brand Sonder.

On November 9th local time, Marriott International announced today that the brand licensing agreement signed with the hotel service apartment brand Sonder has been automatically terminated due to a breach of contract. Marriott International stated that with rooms from Sonder being removed from the Marriott system, they now expect their net room growth rate for 2025 to be close to 4.5%. The other outlook indicators released by the group on November 4, 2025, remain unchanged.
