Relief has been repaid, credit-damaged individuals, personal credit repair policies are ready to be implemented.
For some defaulters who have partially repaid their loans, the dilemma of "once defaulted, restricted for five years" in credit records may soon see a change. Pan Gongsheng, the governor of the People's Bank of China, recently disclosed that they are studying and planning to implement policy measures to support individuals in repairing their credit, with plans to execute them early next year. Industry experts believe that by providing one-time credit relief policies for individuals who defaulted without malicious intent and have repaid their debts, it will encourage individuals to proactively repay their debts and address their historical credit issues, allowing those who have fallen but have the ability and willingness to abide by their credit agreements to regain financial support and better achieve personal development. This measure is also expected to support the development of inclusive finance and unleash consumer potential, while squeezing out illegal "credit repair" activities by "opening the front door and blocking the back door." In formulating and implementing policies, it is important to guard against moral risks and not encourage malicious debt evasion.
