Sichuan Province has introduced twenty-five measures to deepen employment reform, including relaxing the age limit for recruitment of public institutions.
Recently, the provincial government issued the "Implementation Opinions on Further Deepening Reform in the Employment Field to Promote High-Quality Full Employment," proposing 25 specific measures around building a "large-scale employment" work pattern, developing employment positions through multiple channels, improving employment support policies, shaping modern human resources, and strengthening the employment public service system in five aspects. Sichuan will base its efforts on promoting high-quality development, leverage the role of market-oriented and socialized employment as the main channels, promote coordinated development of the economy, society, and expanding employment while enhancing quality, creating more job opportunities, and building a development model that is friendly to employment. The "Implementation Opinions" point out that developing new productive forces will increase employment capacity. Promote the key industries of artificial intelligence, medicine and health, new displays, high-end energy equipment to form strong chains and circles, creating more employment opportunities. Promote the high-end, intelligent, green development of manufacturing, increase high-quality employment opportunities in advanced manufacturing. Improve traditional industries, nurture emerging industries, plan and develop future industries, develop new occupational sequences, and prioritize nurturing new employment growth points in the process of energy transformation.
At the same time, increase support for workers in employment. Simplify the identification procedures for graduating college students. Support public institutions to appropriately relax age limits for recruitment, encourage enterprises to relax age limits for employment. Encourage college graduates and other young people to engage in employment and entrepreneurship at the grassroots level in urban and rural areas, and in places with conditions, provide supportive policies such as housing guarantees and living subsidies. For qualified college graduates, provide one-time job-seeking subsidies. Create diversified and personalized employment opportunities suitable for the elderly, strengthen job search, employment, skills training, and other services.
