Vietnamese Prime Minister: GDP needs to grow by 8.4% in the fourth quarter in order to achieve growth target.
Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh stated on Saturday that in order for the country to achieve the government's target of over 8% economic growth by 2025, the economic growth rate in the last quarter of this year must reach at least 8.4%. According to information released on the Vietnamese government's website, Pham Minh Chinh pointed out at the monthly cabinet meeting that the country's traditional economic drivers, large projects funded by foreign investment, exports, and domestic consumption, have not met expectations.
