Improving meteorological warning capabilities, Qinghai's first CD-type dual-polarization weather radar is completed.

According to the Qinghai Provincial Meteorological Bureau, yesterday, the weather radar business access test of Xining Daban Mountain was successfully completed. This marks the official completion of the first CD-type dual-polarization weather radar in Qinghai, which has met the conditions for business operation access. It is understood that this radar adopts advanced technologies such as C-band large antennas and dual-linear polarization, representing the highest technical standards in domestic meteorological radar construction. During the testing period, staff conducted comprehensive inspections and tests on radar technical parameters, software and hardware functions, and refined products, and completed a 48-hour continuous operation test to ensure that it meets business requirements.
