Libya conducted airstrikes on its own ports to target smuggler boats.
The Libyan National Unity Government's Ministry of Defense announced on November 7th that they conducted an air strike on several boats used for human trafficking near a port in northwestern Libya. Some reports indicate that the operation destroyed several boats used for smuggling, with no casualties reported. The operation took place at the Zuwara port, approximately 120 kilometers west of the capital, Tripoli. Sources suggest that the Ministry of Defense closely monitored and tracked the active human trafficking network in the area before carrying out the strike.
