On November 7, Cui Dongshu, the Secretary-General of the China Passenger Car Association, stated that in September 2025, the national second-hand car market traded 1.79 million units, an increase of 5.1% month-on-month and 8% year-on-year. The transaction amount was 110.5 billion yuan, an increase of 3.8% year-on-year. From January to September 2025, the accumulated transaction volume of second-hand cars was 14.73 million units, a year-on-year increase of 3.6%, with a total transaction amount of 946.2 billion yuan, an increase of 0.7%.
