In the third quarter of 2025, China's current account surplus was 1,394.8 billion yuan, with a merchandise trade surplus of 1,921.3 billion yuan, a service trade deficit of 352 billion yuan, a primary income deficit of 232.4 billion yuan, and a secondary income surplus of 57.9 billion yuan. The capital and financial account had a deficit of 1,394.8 billion yuan, with net inflows of foreign direct investment into China.
