"The fastest high-speed rail in the world experienced at the CIIE, China Railway Group: Comprehensive testing will be arranged by 2026"

On November 7th, at the 8th China International Import Expo, the world's fastest high-speed train - CR450 technology innovation project made its debut at the China Pavilion. With the help of VR technology, viewers can "walk into" the train's interior and experience the new generation of high-speed trains firsthand. According to officials from China Railway Group, the CR450 train prototype has already undergone type tests and operational assessments on several lines such as the Chongqing-Guizhou High-Speed Railway, Wuyishan-Yichang High-Speed Railway, Shenyang-Dalian High-Speed Railway, and Shanghai-Chongqing-Chengdu High-Speed Railway, setting a new record of a maximum speed of 453 kilometers per hour when running solo and 896 kilometers per hour when relative meeting. It is reported that China Railway Group will arrange for the CR450 to undergo comprehensive testing under conditions closer to commercial operation on the Chengdu-Chongqing Medium Line next year, with the aim of putting it into commercial operation as soon as possible.
