The digital economy in Beijing increased by 9% in the first three quarters of the year.

At the "National Data Element Integration Experimental Zone Press Conference" held today, it was learned that in the first three quarters of this year, the added value of Beijing's digital economy increased by 9%, with the added value of the core industries in the digital economy increasing by 10.7%. Beijing issued the "Implementation Opinions on Deepening the Market-Oriented Allocation Reform of Data Elements in the Construction of Data Element Integration Experimental Zone", proposing to take the market-oriented allocation reform of data elements as the main line, coordinate data development and security, and build a national data management center, national data resource center, and national data circulation trading center, in order to create a national data technology innovation source and development highland. The "Implementation Opinions" propose that by 2027, a positive interaction between data infrastructure construction and practical exploration will be achieved, and the pilot tasks of the national data element integration experimental zone will be completed in Beijing. By 2029, data elements will flow smoothly and be efficiently allocated, becoming a new competitive advantage for Beijing in the urban competition and effectively empowering high-quality economic and social development.
