The new leadership team of the Institute of High Energy Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences made its debut, with Wang Sheng appointed as the Party Committee Secretary.

Reporters learned from the official website of the Institute of High Energy Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences that the new leadership team of the Institute of High Energy Physics announced that a conference would be held in the afternoon of November 4. Cai Hongzhi, Deputy Director of the Personnel Department of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, presided over the meeting. Members of the leadership team of the Institute of High Energy Physics, members of the Party Committee, members of the Discipline Inspection Committee, as well as representatives of scientific research and management backbone employees attended the meeting. Video sub-venues were set up in the Dongguan Research Department and the Jinan Research Department. Cai Hongzhi read out the notice of appointment and removal of the Party Group of the Chinese Academy of Sciences: Comrade Cao Jun was appointed as the director of the Institute of High Energy Physics; Comrade Wang Sheng was appointed as the Secretary of the Party Committee of the Institute of High Energy Physics; Comrade Dong Yuhui was appointed as the Deputy Director of the Institute of High Energy Physics; Comrades Lu Wei, Wen Liangjian, and Liu Congzhan were appointed as Deputy Directors of the Institute of High Energy Physics; Comrade Wei Long was dismissed from the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of the Institute of High Energy Physics, maintaining a position at the department level; Comrades Wang Sheng and Li Yuhui were dismissed from the position of Deputy Directors of the Institute of High Energy Physics.
