On November 6th, the Hong Kong Stock Exchange announced the monthly market overview: the total market capitalization of the securities market was 4.81 trillion Hong Kong dollars as of the end of October 2025, an increase of 37% year-on-year. The average daily turnover in October 2025 was 274.9 billion Hong Kong dollars, an increase of 8% year-on-year. In the first ten months of 2025, the average daily turnover was 258.2 billion Hong Kong dollars, an increase of 102% year-on-year; the average daily turnover of exchange-traded funds was 34.3 billion Hong Kong dollars, an increase of 127% year-on-year; the amount raised in initial public offerings was 216 billion Hong Kong dollars, an increase of 209% year-on-year.
