Reporters have learned that currently, the determination of false marketing is mainly based on laws such as the Advertising Law of the People's Republic of China, the Anti-Unfair Competition Law of the People's Republic of China, and the Consumer Rights and Interests Protection Law of the People's Republic of China. However, with the changes in the market, new marketing methods are constantly emerging, and the industry is calling for a more complete "method for determining false marketing" to protect the interests of relevant parties. In September of this year, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and five other departments jointly issued a document to carry out a three-month special rectification campaign for network chaos in the automotive industry, focusing on correcting the exaggeration and false advertising, malicious defamation, and other problems currently existing in the automotive industry.
