Liu Qiangdong: JD will build the world's first fully unmanned delivery station in April next year.

At the opening ceremony of the World Internet Conference Wuzhen Summit on November 7, 2025, Liu Qiangdong said that currently, JD's sorting center in Beijing has basically replaced 90% of the manpower with robots. By next April, JD will build the world's first fully unmanned delivery station. According to him, the delivery station will have unmanned drones taking off and landing on the building, all unmanned delivery vehicles below, and robotic arms inside the station loading goods onto the drones, as well as loading onto unmanned vehicles, all completed by robots.
