Terminal demand release drives the price rebound of electrolyte.
Deputy Director Bian Guangqi of the Energy Conservation and Technology Equipment Department of the National Energy Administration said that by the end of September, the scale of new energy storage in China has exceeded 100 million kilowatts, a growth of over 30 times compared to the end of the 13th Five-Year Plan period. The installed capacity accounts for over 40% of the global total, ranking first in the world. "Currently, driven by factors such as the continuous increase in the penetration rate of new energy vehicles and the explosive growth of the energy storage industry, the electrolyte, as a core material for batteries, is experiencing a historic turning point of 'ending the trend of price decline and entering an upward cycle', with multiple signals of price rebound, capacity expansion, and technological upgrading," said Zhang Xiang, Secretary General of the International Intelligent Transport Technology Association and visiting professor at the Yellow River Institute of Technology, in an interview with reporters.
