On November 6th, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology held the first training session for advanced manufacturing technology talents and advanced basic process talents in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province. Zhang Yunming, member of the Party Group of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and Vice Minister, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a mobilization speech. Zhang Yunming emphasized that the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China approved the "Proposal of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China on Formulating the 15th Five-Year Plan for National Economic and Social Development", which made systematic planning and strategic deployment for China's economic and social development during the "15th Five-Year Plan" period. The majority of technical skilled talents should take on the role in realizing the important task of new industrialization in the great practice, actively play the role of pioneers and models, and lead by example. They should have a national vision, actively participate in industrial foundation reshaping, major technological equipment development, and high-quality actions in key industrial chains, help traditional industries upgrade in quality, promote the intelligent, green, and integrated development of the manufacturing industry, and strive to become "builders" of a modern industrial system. They should highlight innovation-driven development, strengthen original innovation and key core technology development, seize the opportunity of digital transformation, focus on future technology and industry development high points, actively explore new areas and paths, and strive to become "empowerers" of new productive forces. They should adhere to open cooperation, broaden their global vision, strive for global leadership, strengthen joint research and development with overseas companies and research institutions, firmly guard the safety bottom line, and become "drivers" in improving the international level of the industry.
