The Mosul International Airport in Iraq has officially started operating.

On November 6th local time, the first flight of Iraqi Airways bound for Baghdad International Airport took off from Mosul International Airport, marking the official operation of Mosul International Airport and its opening to passengers. The flight was also the first domestic route opened by Mosul International Airport.
