US President Donald Trump once again pointed his finger at the two largest economies in Africa, reiterating the possibility of launching strikes against Islamic extremists in Nigeria and questioning South Africa's role in the Group of Twenty (G20) summit just days before it was hosted. Trump posted a video on his "Truth Social" platform, reiterating his claim that the Nigerian government failed to prevent the killing of Christians, and said he has requested the Pentagon to prepare for "possible action" unless this West African country takes action. "The Nigerian government had better take action soon, otherwise it will be too late," Trump said. "If they don't act, the consequences will be unimaginable."
