According to the latest Market Monitoring Report from Counterpoint Research, global smartphone market revenue is expected to increase by 5% year-on-year to reach $112 billion in the third quarter of 2025, reaching the highest level in history for the third quarter. The global smartphone shipment volume for this quarter also achieved a moderate 4% year-on-year increase to reach 320 million units. Looking ahead, it is anticipated that in the global smartphone market, with the increasing popularity of high-end smartphones and the expanding adoption of foldable screen smartphones, the Average Selling Price (ASP) and revenue will continue to grow in 2025.
