The Zhonglun New Materials New Energy Film Project has been put into production in Xiamen, filling the gap in the domestic market for high-end capacitor films.

Recently, the Zhonglun New Materials and New Energy Membrane Project started production at its Xiamen base, and Zhonglun New Materials simultaneously launched its independently developed "Long Plastic High-Performance Capacitor Film." As a national manufacturing industry champion, the company has expanded into the high-end BOPP capacitor film track, adding strength to China's new energy industry chain with globally leading technology. The core highlights of this production include Zhonglun New Materials becoming the only domestic enterprise to achieve stable mass production of "large-width, stepwise, and less than 3 microns thin" BOPP capacitor films, with a 6.4-meter wide production line using independent innovative biaxial stretching technology. The first release of the "Long Plastic High-Performance Capacitor Film" is the only product in the industry with "zero joints, high performance, and zero defects," matching the needs of new energy vehicles, photovoltaics, and other fields, effectively filling the domestic high-end capacitor film production capacity gap. The total investment of the project is 2.5 billion yuan, covering an area of 134,000 square meters, and will drive the company's strategic transition from the world's largest BOPA film supplier to the "all-around champion" covering various high-performance film materials, helping China reduce its reliance on imported high-end capacitor films.
