Belen Climate Summit held in Brazil with 143 delegations participating.
The 30th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change is set to open on November 10th in Belm, Brazil. Prior to this, the Belm Climate Summit is scheduled to be held on November 6th local time. Several heads of state, scientists, non-governmental organizations, and civil society representatives will come together to discuss actions to address climate change. According to data released by the Brazilian government, a total of 143 delegations will participate in the Belm Climate Summit, including delegations of national government heads, ministerial-level representatives, and international organizations. The summit will focus on topics such as establishing a permanent fund for tropical forests and energy transition. The Belm city government announced on the 5th that public transportation will be provided free of charge during the conference.
